PREPARATION OF SPECIALISTS IN THE FIELD OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY
Informatics and Information Security Department prepares students on two specialities:
- 090105 Integrated Information Security of Computer-Aided Systems
- 090106 Telecommunication Systems Information Security
Students of these specialities have practice in companies, specialized in development, implementation and support of information security systems, as well as in departments of information security in state and commercial organizations:
- data centers of Oktyabrskaya, Privolzhskaya and Northern departments of Russian Railways
- Federal State Unitary Enterprise “ZazhitaInfoTrans”
- OJSC St.Petersburg Branch “Scientific-Research and Project-Engineering Institute of Informatization, Automation and Communication on Railway Transport”
- CJSC “AKUTA”
- CJSC “Digital Security”
- LLC “Gazinformservis”
The department usually organizes meetings of employers and students, and in most cases they are likely to be offered a job.
